The Libby Leshgold Gallery organizes and presents exhibitions at a museum-level standard. Programming takes place throughout the year with exhibitions drawn from regional, national and international sources.
The Michael O’Brian Exhibition Commons is an adaptable exhibition space for student and University-oriented shows, providing students with the opportunity to experience the rigours and rewards of public exhibitions.
The RBC Media Gallery provides a venue for showing film, video and new media.
If you would like to participate in a show, complete and submit your proposal to the Student Exhibitions Committee in the Libby Leshgold Gallery. Postings around the University in the Fall will provide more information on deadlines. Send questions to email@example.com.

All final grades assigned by faculty will be recorded on the student record (transcript) asletter grades with corresponding grade points for each grade. The student record will report a student’s semester grade point average and cumulative grade point average.
The Semester GPA is a calculation or average based on all courses for which a student has received a letter grade at Emily Carr (except for withdrawals ‘W’ grades) for each semester.
The Cumulative GPA is a calculation of all courses completed at Emily Carr to that date (except for withdrawals ‘W’ grades), including repeated courses.

The Graduation Ceremony is normally held following the end of the spring semester. All graduating students are encouraged to attend. Only those students having completed all degree requirements are eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.
The Graduation Exhibition opening follows the Graduation ceremony and normally opens in the evening.

A Graduation Fee is charged to all undergraduate and graduate students who apply for graduation. This one time fee will be used to support graduation activities and materials related to the annual Graduation Ceremony and Exhibition.
Some curriculum areas require the completion of a review panel at the third and/or fourth year of study, often as a necessary component of a core course. A review panel is made up of a group of faculty who examine a student’s body of work for competence and maturity at his or her level of study.
In order to graduate the student must:
- Successfully complete all required courses in their program
- Be approved for graduation by the student’s Graduation Committee or Graduation Review Panel, as required by their program
